Many kinds of music speak to Larry, and there’s a room for each in Little House. Up-front is the country room with an up-tempo beat and humorous or reflective lyrics. It’s back to his fiddling roots in the kitchen with three traditional instrumentals.Pop is given a room, too, and it’s jazzy back in the bedroom.
One song, Love Time, is his answer to the challenge from Larry’s long-time friend and harmonica man, Bob Lambert, to write a song that could be played on smooth jazz (think Barry White meets Stefan Grapelli). Out back in the garden is where you can find Larry’s favorite gospel hymn.
